Evaluation

I am now beginning the evaluation process of my magazine.

Article Changed and Finished!

After looking at my article upload I realised that page numbers needed to be added, I also changed the fonts of my pull quotes.

Completed Article!

My article is now finished, I am very pleased with how my article looks and glad my hard work has paid off.

Image Manipulation

The deadline is fast approaching and I still have 3/4 of the article to write and two images to chose to go on my second page.
I am playing with the image below to see what I can do to make it suit the magazine genre and also the genre of the band. I have edited it to give it a 'dirty' look which i belive represents the band well. I have chosen it to be one band member as she is the lead singer of the band.
This is the photo with the floor edited out to give and all white background.

Article Progress

As the deadline is only next week I feel I have been progressing with the article much faster than I did with the front cover. I will upload a picture of my progress so far.
The text is just to show what it will look like when finished... and the pictures are not final and are not placed correctly... this is simply just a draft.

Images

After looking at the images after colour minipulation I personally think that the slight grey scale effect will work well with the type of article i'm creating. Although this is my personal opinion, it is what my target audience want to see, therefor I am going to ask their opinion on which image they would prefer to see in the article. For instance the grey scale image creates a grungy, dirty, rock feel to the band whereas the brighter image represents the band in a more, friendly and fun way and these representations may not be what the audience agree with.

Image Manipulation

I have chosen to play around with the various colours and affecrs I can use on the image for my article. Below is a few examples of how I have changed the image.

 Above is the image after the tv had been editied out of the image to create a cleaner background.
